Navalprogetti srl
This Trieste-based company has longstanding experience in ship design, naval architecture and marine engineering. For Gasvessel, Navalprogetti is thus in charge of the analysis of naval architecture, which includes calculations of stability, strength and ship weights. Navalprogetti is also the coordinator of this project and responsible for the project management.
DOW Germany
Part of DOW Chemical Company, DOW Germany delivers a broad range of products and services, such as building insulation materials, construction chemicals, epoxy resins and specialty chemicals. In the GASVESSEL project DOW will contribute to construction and testing of the pressure cylinder prototype.
DowAksa
DowAksa is a joint venture between Dow Chemical Company and Aksa Akrilik Fibers with a specific focus on industrial grade carbon fiber manufacturing for low cost and high volume applications in the area of wind/energy, transportation and infrastructure. DowAksa will supply carbon fiber to the GASVESSEL project and customize the solution for the targeted pressure cylinder design.
PNO Innovation
PNO Innovation is part of the PNO Group, an innovation and grants consultancy. They have an extensive experience in supporting and participating in innovative projects on a European scale. In the GASVESSEL project, PNO is responsible for the dissemination and exploitation of results and the development of business plans.
Vnipitransgaz
The industrial design institute Vnipitransgaz has extensive experience in the design of oil and gas pipelines. For the GASVESSEL project, Vnipitransgaz will coordinate the design of the offshore and onshore gas loading/unloading systems. The design will be based on the three different geo-logistic scenarios.
SINTEF Ocean
SINTEF Ocean is an independent, internationally leading non-profit marine technology research organization in the Norwegian SINTEF Group. SINTEF Ocean will contribute with numerical simulations related to the ship design and the gas loading system to GASVESSEL. They will also lead the proof-of-concept and cost-benefit analysis.
BM Plus
BM Plus is a manufacturing company that designs, constructs and maintains industrial machines for different industries, from iron and steel to the textile industry. At their premises, BM Plus will set up the prototyping line for the Gasvessel pressure cylinders, where they will be designed, engineered and tested
CNGV
Founded by Mr. Giovanni Fratti and Mr. Loris Cok, who have extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of pressure cylinder technology, CNGV holds patents of the innovative GASVESSEL pressure cylinders in Europe and South Africa and awaits final approval of the Chinese patent office. CNGV will coordinate the manufacturing process design of the pressure cylinders.
cEnergy
A university spin-off that is specialized in advanced technologies for energy conversion, recovery, and storage. In particular, the activity of cEnergy focuses on the design and development of small-sized fuel cells and process simulation models of energy systems. For GASVESSEL, cEnergy will develop software tools for the loading and unloading process design and the overall energy analysis of the ship.
Hanseatic Lloyd Schifffahrt
The Hanseatic Lloyd Group has many years of experience in international shipping as well as the development and financing of ships. They provide their expertise on investment level and opportunities for the business plan of the GASVESSEL project.
Cyprus Hydrocarbons Company (CHC)
CHC is the National Oil and Gas Company of Cyprus and is organizing technical and commercial matters relating to exploration, production and monetization of Oil and Gas reserves in Cyprus. CHC defines and analyses the different geo-logistic scenarios of the Gasvessel and its monetization options.
ESTECO
ESTECO supplies services for integration, simulation and optimization technology. Their main product is modeFRONTIER, a software environment for process and design optimization. For GASVESSEL, ESTECO extends modeFRONTIER for scenario cost and safety analysis and for design optimization of the pressure cylinders.
American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Greece
The American Bureau of Shipping is a New York based non-profit classification corporation that is committed to setting standards for safety and excellence in shipping. ABS was the first of the Class Societies to open a branch office in Greece since early 50s and currently holds a very strong team of engineers, surveyors and the regional management of east Europe in this, counting more than 80 employees in total. ABS will support the other partners during design, construction and testing of the ship and vessels and review the final design for compliance.
