East Mediterranean Conference and Exhibition 2021 in Cyprus

GASVESSEL consortium took took part in the EMC East Mediterranean Conference and Exhibition held on 10-12 November in Nicosia, Cyprus. The event was held under the auspices of the Cypriot Energy Ministry and with the support of the GASVESSEL partner Cyprus Hydrocarbons company (CHC).

GASVESSEL at the EMC 2021

EMC brought together regional energy industry together to support a clean energy transition. With the assistance of the consortium partner CHC, GASVESSEL participated in the exhibition with an independent booth. The ground team from Navalprogetti, Cenergy, CHC was actively demonstrating the CNG technology and potential to exhibitors and visitors. Thus, creating meaningful contacts and interacting with several participants and guests about the project objectives and impacts.

During the conference part of the event, Michele Capobianco (Cenergy) presented the project and the technology advancements with 2 presentations:

  • Novel Solution for CNG Transport at Sea,
  • A Solution to Implement on Demand Virtual Pipelines.

In addition, the national host of the event CHC had an exhibition booth as part of the event.

About the EMC 2021

East Mediterranean Conference and Exhibition 2021 provides a platform for connecting with leading natural gas, renewables and hydrocarbons stakeholders in the Mediterranean basin. The region has proved to be a world-class energy source with huge potential. 

Moreover, the event gathered together different stakeholders from the entire oil & gas, and energy sectors and has given rise to many exploration activities in Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean region. The exhibition hosted 150 exhibiting companies and around 3000 international visitors. In addition, the conference got 6 plenary sessions with 28 technical sessions and 20 workshops for around 900 international delegates.
